00 PM ArizonaDescription We invite you to join the high performing team at the Town of Prescott Valley, serving Administrative Specialist II within the Neighborhood Services department.
If you have a desire to serve the community in which you live, we encourage you to apply! Examples of Duties Provide customer service, greet visitors, screen and respond to incoming mail, e-mails, telephone calls and voice messages.
Answer routine inquiries from internal and external customers.
Support department and staff members with general clerical and administrative services in the delivery of department programming and services.
Process and verify general financial and purchasing functions and entries which may include purchase requisitions, service orders, invoices, check requests, and purchasing-card reconciliation.
Enter data and request for services into various computer and web-based systems such as Facilities work orders, IT help desk tickets, and Personnel Action Forms (PAF).
Assist in entering time and attendance records, fleet maintenance, and other computer and database maintenance activities.
Collect, compile, distribute and maintain various written correspondence, spreadsheets and reports.
Prepare meeting information packets and distribution of materials.
Assist in taking, preparing and posting meeting minutes.
Typical Qualification Associate degree and a minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative and fiscal experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent with six (6) years of progressively responsible administration and fiscal experience.
The Town may consider an equivalent of experience for bachelors education level.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background.
Working knowledge of rules of formatting correspondence, spreadsheets and reports.
Skilled in operating a variety of standard office equipment including personal computer, telephone, calculator, postal equipment, copier and fax machines.

Part-time regular employees:
General Leave:
75 hours the first year, increasing annually up to 125 hours for hourly employees.
Holidays:
Eleven (11) paid holidays; Five (5) hours per day for PT employees.
