Multi Care Unit (ICU) - Registered Nurse

Experience:
o 24 months of role experience is required.
o 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
o 12 months of travel experience is required.
o 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
o Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
o This role may require floating to additional units and locations o Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.
o COVID vaccination required for onboarding.
Religious and medical declinations accepted.
o COVID booster required for onboarding.
Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
o Flu vaccination required for onboarding.
Declinations not accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Information:
Multi Care Unit Level of care is within on unit for all three acuities (not floating between units) An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Candidates being submitted cannot have worked (travel, perm, and per diem DO count) within the state of AZ in the last 12 months.
They are ineligible to submit.
ER Float positions will require floating between many different ER satellite locations in the area.
CommonSpirit AZ will do their best to provide a home base facility, however this may not be the facility clinician is regularly at.
Schedule will be made in advance, so traveler is aware of what location they'll be reporting to Shift:
36 Guaranteed Hours.
EOW, Holiday Rotation.
Ratios:
Depends on the acuity as this is a combined acuity unit:
ICU 1:
2, PCU 1:
4, MST 1:
5-6, if no nurse aid for 1:
3 primary care.
Experience:
Will take one year of ICU and one year of PCU/ Med surg if they have worked in larger facilities.

Call:
If low census, staff rotates standby turns Floating:
Float to our EC MST & Pediatric unit to care for adult MST, also will float to our West Campus in Prescott to care for ICU & PCU to maintain competency in caring for all types of ICU/PCU Patients.
Would take full med surg team 1:
5, Could go to peds to take adult assignment there.
Can float to west ICU/ PCU - two hour notice before floating Scrub Color/Dress Code:
Currently can wear any scrub color except camouflage 2 references from last 12 months (Nurse Manager reference type) Certifications:
